I create to express emotion, use my voice, invite reflection and suggest that light can emerge through the heaviest of atmosphere.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I am most drawn to creating abstract impressionist paintings that explore atmosphere, emotion, and the passage of time. Through layered color, movement, and soft transitions. I aim to evoke an Ethereal quality that invites quiet reflection and a deeper connection with the viewer.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the quiet, reflective moments of life-shifting light, changing skies, and the unseen energy within nature. The passage of time, memory, and emotion guide my work, along with a desire to express what cannot be said in words. My paintings emerge from both observation and intuition, inviting a deeper, contemplative experience.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in my growth as an artist- upgrading materials, reading a cohesive body of work, and securing opportunities to exhibit more widely. I would refine my studio practice, expand my reach through professional presentation, and dedicate time to developing new series that expend my voice and connection with viewers.
