I paint because it’s my language. I want people to slow down and feel the beauty, the discomfort, the myriad that makes us human.

Surreal, emotionally charged figurative paintings that create a sense of subtle unease.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere. Every subtle movement in my environment, all the little things most people don’t notice. It’s always there.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to give myself the time and space to fully focus on my art. It would allow me to step back from distractions and really hone my craft, push my skills further, and become a stronger, more disciplined artist. I’d invest that time into creating more meaningful work and continuing to grow into the artist I know I’m capable of becoming.
