Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I love many medias, I’m most comfortable in oils right now. Doing nautical and renaissance pieces. Fantasy with faeries , and working through impressions of characters that lets viewers have deep conversations on what they see as an interpretation of good VS Evil. Growth for me, comes through learning and having healthy conversations with others. People inspire my creative flow. Faith drives me. Love is the color I paint with to create better form.

Where do you find inspiration?

Through Dutch masters foundational practice, as well as modern artists that are full of passion. I can feel creative energies from artists that have vessels full of blessed gifts and deep for -thought. The best creative moments are from my life mistakes and hardships. Art helps bend me to a place of appreciation of the broken pieces. Where it starts to make sense. I have my space; and beauty can come out of darkness.

What would you do with $25,000?

My passion is to have tools to help others. In a world where many community places are being removed from the public. I believe a lil atelier will help others no matter color, age or positions in society: art will always bring people together. Community will bloom artfully in many different facets. My lil old horse barn, converted to an art space is a good start. Client needs for tacticle, clay sculptural methods are wanted. The money would open doors to sculptural and tactical learning.
