Iβve always loved Art, since I can remember. Itβs provided an outlet from this at times overbearing world. I love to get lost in creating.π¨
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Pastel and watercolor. However, my favorite piece is probably a charcoal drawing that I did of an English water canal my mother took a picture of the last time she went back to England. It brought back memories of my childhood, and I added some spirits of the Fairy Realm to look for in it. I’ve since titled it “Cupid was never “almost famous.”” Cupid can be found at the bottom of the chimney covered with ivy. He’s ready and waiting to aim his arrow at love. πΉπ
Where do you find inspiration? From photographs and memories of living life and experiencing all that it has to offer. A lot of times, emotions play a role in my creating too. I like helping people to feel something or wonder about something. It’s magical to see something beautiful develop on an empty canvas. It’s exciting and lifts the spirit, and I can only hope that it will lift other’s spirits too. I had an art show at a coffee shop one time, and I got to hear people talking about my art, that was fun! π
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use the funds to make larger Art Pieces of drawings/paintings for a fairy realm series, where hidden figures invite viewers to search for the extraordinary. I would invest in a dedicated studio space and higher-quality materials to create a new body of work inspired by generational memories and beautiful English landscapes. The funds would allow me to work at a larger scale and enter national exhibitions that connect fantasy with history. This money makes more ART happen.π₯°
