I love creating sculpture because I can shape ideas into something real, expressing emotion through form, texture, and space.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is sculpture because it allows me to create something physical and immersive. I love working with form, texture, and space, and how a piece can be experienced from multiple angles. Sculpture feels more alive to me it invites interaction and creates a deeper connection between the artwork and the viewer.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life, especially in nature, human emotions, and movement. I’m inspired by the way people interact, the textures and forms around me, and small details that often go unnoticed. These moments help me create sculptures that feel alive and meaningful.
What would you do with $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would invest in better materials and tools to expand my sculpture practice and experiment with new techniques. I would also dedicate time to developing a new body of work that pushes my creativity further. Additionally, I’d use part of the funding to share my art with a wider audience, whether through exhibitions or community projects, so I can connect more deeply with others through my work.
