I love to do pieces of string work that has eyes and faces...and also love to install crystal prisms in small rings.. Any string work is my passion.
Where do you find inspiration?I get my different style of string work from native americans. I love to use loud colors mostly..and now things just come from my soul... Just start and let the string work into a single expression.. I have totem poles that are little string sculptures on poles...mostly made from #18 nylon masons cord. Sometimes I get objects that are simple and unusual and incorporate them in the string. Lately my pieces are becoming 3D and allowing me to make bugs from #400 c-lon cords.
What would you do with $25,000?Would love to get an online store with a website to see if my string sculpture is marketable. Also have to use some of that money to secure my studio safety from nature{dead trees} But otherwise bank most and just lay back and enjoy making string work of a different dimension for people to enjoy.
