Creating Art feeds my soul. - it’s my escape, my voice, and my joy all in one. Pure magic!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love creating abstract art and abstract landscapes — there’s such freedom and lead colour texture, and emotion lead the way. No rules just instinct. With landscape I get to re-imagine the world through feeling rather than fact — a stormy sky become pure energy a horizon becomes a mood. It’s where my imagination feels most alive.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from two places — the world I’ve explored in the world inside my mind. Travelling opens my eyes to incredible colors, texture, light, and landscape that stays with me long after I return home. Every place I visit leaves an imprint. But sometimes I close my eyes and let my imagination take over — creating worlds and feelings that I don’t exist anywhere, but on my canvas. Together, travel and imagination gives me endless inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would do something that would transform me both as an artist and as a person — join an art residency in Bali. Immersing myself in Bali’s breathtaking landscape, rich culture, and vibrant creative energy would push my art to places I’ve never been. Surrounded by other passionate artists, with dedicate time and space to create, I know I would return home with work and a perspective completely transformed. I would be the ultimate investment in my art and my soul.
