My favourite type of art to create is photography, especially portraiture. I’m drawn to quiet, emotional moments that reveal something honest and vulnerable about a person. I love working with natural light and often shoot on film because it gives the image a sense of texture, imperfection, and memory that feels deeply human to me. I’m particularly interested in the emotional connection between people, and sometimes between humans and animals, capturing tenderness, fragility, and presence .
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday human emotions, quiet moments, and the way people connect without words. Walking through streets, observing light, listening to music, and spending time with animals often inspire my work. I am especially drawn to imperfect beauty, vulnerability, and memory. Film photography also inspires me because its texture and unpredictability feel honest and alive, allowing emotion to exist naturally within the image.
What would you do with $25,000?If I received $25,000, I would share part of the money with homeless people because I believe art and humanity should exist together. Another part I would invest in analogue photography equipment, film, and darkroom materials, as I deeply love shooting on film more than digital. I would also buy painting materials to continue exploring visual art through colour and texture. For me, creating art is not only a passion, but also a way of understanding life and people.
