Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

Dark realism, as well a sort of gothic surrealism in the way the things I make my creatures and their proportions. Being colorblind I also tend to stay away from a lot of colors and specialize in making black and white artworks. I'm the most proficient in just pencil and paper work, but I also really enjoy working with charcoal and inks as well to really help draw out depths in the artworks.

Where do you find inspiration?

In a lot of things in the world, games movies, books, and especially music. I believe everything in this world can tell a story, and I also believe that not every story is a happy one. That is not to say that there is no beauty in the dark, but it does take a certain eye to see any good in what most would shy away from. The darkest places is where I find my light, and where most of my monsters are born. But I wish to use them to fuel the light and creativity in myself and those like me.

What would you do with $25,000?

In all honesty, there's a lot in life a person could use this much money for. But the biggest thing for me will be to pay back my mother and my grandfather for all of the support they've shown me. That and schooling for a job I wish to pursue as well. The rest will me set aside into that which I wish to save for the future and that which I'll allow myself to use for every day expenditures.
