Painting is how I express the peace and beauty I feel and see in different places and times in my life. Sort of like painting a souvenir

I find peace in making semi realistic oil painting of my memories. Often buildings, streets and real life scenes. I like them bright, colorful and saturated. This is where I see their beauty, this is how I see it in real life too. I want to remember them as it is, and hope to be able to share my point of view to others. Each of these places are attached to quiet stories. I'm not a writer, so I paint them instead.
Where do you find inspiration? The world is an open moodboard. I do not own the places I paint, but I own how I felt when I was there. Some places dont speak to me. While some, for a reason I do not know, bring me a feeling of quietness. A street has been walked by millions of people, the walls have heard every conversation and trees have lived longer than most of the people who've seen them. That's where I find inspiration, just looking around at things that can be brushed away as we move on with our lives.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25000$, I would probably save most of it to make sure I have money on the side in case of an emergency. Hospital bills, car issues ... I'm young and my family is in another country. Maybe that will help me to see them more often too. I'm hoping to go back to school, money like this can help me pay off a future student loan as well. If I have some leftover, I'd buy myself a house plant (mine died...)
