Creating art brings me joy because it eases the pain of the human experience for both the viewer and the creator.

My favorite type of art to create is painting either using acrylic or watercolor. Mixing the colors and making a world exist on the page brings me peace of mind and control to an uncontrollable life. I also fell in love with art through the form of dancing. I had trained in ballet and contemporary for 12 years. Dancing helps me through emotions in a physical way. It helps bring action to my words and makes me feel a release from the struggles of the world.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from my own experiences. I struggle with anxiety and have since 5th grade. I use art to find understanding when words don’t suffice. I use art to bring me joy and clarity in a day where it doesn’t seem to exist. I make art to give me purpose and to feel like I matter and can give others peace. I want to inspire people to feel anything when they see my art whether it’s joy, sadness, clarity, or something more. I find my inspiration from daily life and emotions.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would most likely put it towards college or my savings. I hope to save this money, put it towards my education, and a continuation of my passion to the arts. Even with no money at all I would want to inspire people to create even if it gets nowhere. It is a release for the soul and helps with the understanding of the pain and happiness of the human experience.
