My art has been rooted in humanity and in nature, in our ecosystems, creates conversations and human connections, it reflects the idea that we are all interconnected. I am driven by research, by ideas, by curiosity, by concepts that ask us to look deeper. Much of my work is dedicated to social issues, seeking to translate complex questions into experiences that invite reflection and dialogue.

I believe Arts is a powerful tool a way to help us understand one another more deeply, to reflect on how we think and how we see the world. And perhaps, in some small but meaningful way, art can help us imagine and shape a better future. Luigia Martelloni is a visual artist, curator and filmmaker based in Los Angeles and Rome. Working across multimedia installation, painting, photography, and video, her practice explores themes of identity, migration, memory, humanity and nature.

I will continue creating art that inspires social impact. Through my work, I aim to share messages that raise awareness for humanity, our planet, the environment, and the future we are building together. This prize will allow me to go further in developing the ideas and explorations that drive my artistic journey, helping me expand my vision and amplify its impact on the world.
