I am creative by nature: I give color to my dreams and fantasies, seeking that each viewer makes their own interpretation.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
In my work, I explore dreams, desire, time, disenchantment, sorrow, joy, and nostalgia: an emotional spectrum parallel to that of a writer, inherent to the artist and to my own being. Through allegorical intertextuality, I link these states with my subjective aesthetic vision and with the physical creation of the work, where each piece becomes a bridge between what I feel and what I imagine.
Where do you find inspiration?During my search, I stumble upon my own ideas and opinions, but I work with them until they become subjective realities. In my painting, I seek synthesis: a few strokes and let color be what gives life to the form, defines its presence, and reveals the feeling it conveys.
What would you do with $25,000?I don't know what I would do with $25,000.00 USD, I really don't know… maybe buy materials, tools and equipment to continue doing what I love.
