Creating art is the holy responsibility of infusing beauty into a world growing hungry for the human capacity to create w/ pure intention.

Abstract Expressionist paintings are my favorite to create alongside attempting to blend my abstract visual language with calligraphy. Impressionist photographs are also my favorite to compose and layer together in order to create a literal impression of reality. Photography also serves as an aid to encapsulate color palettes for the use of digital painting on the iPad, where I also use photographs as a base layer and grid to build from as an abstraction.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration to paint with very bright and vivid colors came from my kids toys while being a stay home dad for three years. Those were the years that I picked up the plastic arts for the accessibility of inspiration and creating with various materials. What drives my inspiration for photography is both nature and people, but they can often be inaccessible for a busy parent. Therefore, my inspiration is always reserved for the projects that I have the time and access for.
