I love creating art because it’s a safe space to put out there our lights and shadows. Despite our background we all can experience it.

My favorite type of art to create is music that blends the flavors of my Venezuelan roots with a hint of rock and roll, exploring also an electronic atmosphere to create a distinctive universal sound. All of this presented in a histrionic style bringing my deep experience in scenic arts as well.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in every struggle I have to overcome, looking all what I have accomplished so far, with my vision upon the journey and the uncertain future, while I kick the streets of NYC everyday, teaching music in elementary and middle school, sharing my passion with new generations, keeping the flame of curiosity, hope and creativity alive!
What would you do with $25,000?I will record and launch a new album: “Bonito y Sabroso”, with fresh compositions, inviting Venezuelan musicians in the diaspora and within Venezuela. I will promote it properly, and put a show onstage to go touring. I also will go back to my hometown Caracas, where I haven’t been able to go since I emigrated in 2009, just to recharge myself, hug my mom, and promise her that I will remain a committed artist, with the same passion and honesty as when she taught me to play the cuatro & sing along!
