You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Fine art photography from a technical stand point, but documentary photography from the perspective of engaging with others.
Where do you find inspiration?Recently I have been inspired by; George Bedell, Judy Natal, John Ganis, Krista Elrick, John Villarreal, Margaret Lejeune, Mierle Laderman Ukeles, Edward Burtynsky, Vik muniz, Rudy Grazziani, Tom Van Avermaet, Ken Hochberg, Roger Mattos, Neil Burnell, Christopher Mccurdy, and Terri Warpinski. I have started studying these poeple and simular other in an effort to kickstart my project called "Ubiquitous" where I will hopefully build a comunity through my work to help clean the streets of Savannah.
What would you do with $25,000?Use it towards my efforts for environmental preservation and raising awareness of the destruction and overuse of the natural world to people with the resources available to make a difference. I have most the equipment I need. Most of this budget would likely go into expenses needed to make valuable connections to further progress my efforts. I will also use this money to fund my education as a current MFA student studying photography at SCAD.
