I really enjoy painting whimsical scenes. If it makes me think, smile or laugh, I will have a fun time! I am most drawn to painting birds and underwater scenes. I have spend a great deal of time painting the deep sea diver in various playful scenarios.
Where do you find inspiration?I find plenty of inspiration in nature. I love the carefree and playful nature of birds, which could be why all my subjects, whether above or below the water, have within them an element of play.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the prize money to reinvest in my sprouting art business and pay off some debts! I’ve been doing art very part-time, and the money would help me get one more step to financial freedom to pursue more art!
