With my photography and art I create to make sense of myself, to push limits, to obsess, and to craft something so alive it can’t be ignored
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create primarily creative portrait work, blending mixed media, varied techniques, and evolving styles to build something layered and intentional. At the core, my hand-drawn portraits stand above the rest, there’s a raw emotional weight in them, shaped by time, patience, and a genuine connection to the process.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration feeds on art itself, films, characters, entire worlds. When something resonates, it doesn’t invite me; it compels me, drags creation out of me by the throat through its own beauty. I’m obsessed with the anatomy of characters, their essence, their presence, their design, and sometimes also who plays them! Bringing these characters to life.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 wouldn’t be excess, it would be proof. Proof that I could take everything I built from nothing and finally give it the space, tools, and weight it deserves. I’ve spent my creative life making do, forcing vision from limitation. With real resources, I wouldn’t just create, I’d expand, building a studio for myself and others, a place to push boundaries, refine skill, and prove that even in a world that starves artists, something powerful can still be made and shared.
