Art presents itself to me in so many forms. I love the canvas but then I have to move, so I love to build an art project. To have a creation going on in my life is was gets me up every morning. When I was a dancer I would sew my costumes, when I was building my house in the sierras I needed artwork on my walls, so I tried painting and the inspiration just flowed out of me. I have just finished a screenplay and will move my creativity to set design and directing. Art is endless.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration is in everything. Music. Art. People. Conversation. Memory. Where I live. Where I don't live. Where I travel and where I don't travel. But ultimately it's fear. When I first decide to paint or to make a film or to build a house, the voice said to me "Are you sure you can do this? What if you fail?" That is when I know my inspirational voice has to take over. "Go for it!" "Give it a shot"! Inspiration passes no judgement.
What would you do with $25,000?I'd put it towards my film. Or put it towards the next one. I want to create story, film art and bring people together that think like me. That want to live each day of their lives with two feet in. Immerse themselves in their true passion and create. I'm in awe of artists. I'm in awe of what they bring to the table. I want to be around them. Work with them. When I'm truly living in my own full potential, the world opens up. $25,000 becomes that much more than $25,000
