Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration when I take moments to pause. It’s very meditative for me. I can lose track of time in a way that feels restorative. I started creating during a dark time in my life as a way to cope, and it’s remained a powerful tool for processing and releasing emotion, turning my experiences into something meaningful.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use the funds to rent a studio space outside of my home. I’m currently in the process of selling my house and letting go of my home studio, and I’m ready for a shift. I want to create more in a shared, public environment. I find real value in making work around other artists. For years, I worked quietly at home while my children slept, but my life has changed. Having a dedicated daytime studio would give me consistency, community, and the space to grow further as an artist.
