Where do you find inspiration?Pain, mostly. I’m the first daughter. The strong friend. The one who should write a book because I’ve lived so many lives. And each time I fell I had to help myself rise. But the pain needs an outlet, and I see a brush with my eyes.
What would you do with $25,000?I’m struggling to find space to create, so I’d rent a small studio so my art can live and breathe, and so I can paint and create with full abandon. I’ve been feeling called to prepare for a show and I have ideas I need to get on canvass. $25,000 could really see this dream of my own show come to life.
