I love creating art because it gives me a safe space to express what I can’t always put into words. Through art, I’ve found healing, clarity

My favorite art to create is work that is emotionally driven—pieces that reflect real experiences, feelings, and personal growth. I love creating art that tells a story, especially when it comes from moments of transformation, healing, or self-discovery. For me, art becomes most meaningful when it carries emotion and allows others to feel something deeper when they see it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in both pain and pleasure—the full spectrum of human emotion. Some of my most meaningful pieces come from moments that challenged me, while others are born from joy, beauty, and connection. Art allows me to transform those experiences into something tangible, something that others can feel and relate to. Whether it comes from struggle or happiness, inspiration finds me in the moments that move me the most.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won the $25,000 prize, I would invest in both my personal growth and my creative future. I would use it to expand my art—purchasing quality materials, creating a dedicated space to work, and building a platform to share my work with a wider audience. I would also use a portion to support my overall well-being and stability, because I believe that when you are grounded and secure, you create from a more powerful place. This opportunity would not just change my circumstances—it would allow.
