Art has always been a part of who I am, shaping my identity, perspective, and the way I understand and experience the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I would like to say that musical theatre has been a huge part of my life since fourth grade. I cannot imagine my life without dancing and singing. I would also like to say that painting has become a very special outlet for me and my trauma since I started high-school, but I most recently became serious about painting at the start of my junior year doing a sustained investigation on all things paint. From different brushes to certain techniques, painting has become my life along with theatre.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from not only my surroundings but also my dreams. I don’t dream very often but when I do it becomes a major part of my thought process and compositions when creating. I’ve always been an observant person, I love to view life and experiences and their intimate details. Grasping pieces of life and memories has given me the inspiration to utilize those details and incorporate them into my pieces.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 dollars I would further my education at Ringling College of Art and Design. I got accepted in the winter of 2025 to the graduating class of 2030. I will be majoring in Fine Arts and my minor will be in business of art and design. $25,000 dollars would not only be an aid to my education but it would also be an honor to have been recognized to that extent. To even just have people notice my work and become inspired to create for themselves would be enough alone.
