I am a multimedia artist who likes to try out every medium there is, but two years ago, I found my favorite. The first time I tried glassblowing, I was immediately drawn to the movement and intensity of the molten glass. It felt so alive that it demanded all my attention. What makes glassblowing so special is the teamwork; you cannot do it alone, and it requires trust and rhythm to execute. Glassblowing has changed how I view art, as something that is collaborative and meaningful.

Inspiration finds me in every corner of my life. I am inspired by classmates who dream up ideas that make me think out of the box, my family that lifts me higher than I could ever reach on my own, and my friends who challenge me to become my best self. My passion for art is a constant spark, always urging me to create. I draw inspiration from everything around me, but most of all from those who cheer me on as I cheer for them, because together, we inspire one another.

My school used to have a glass shop, but it no longer does. Since starting, I have had no opportunity to blow glass, so I have founded my school's first glass-blowing club. With this money, I will be able to bring everyone to our local glass shop and teach this dying art and keep its passion alive. Glass is an innovative art, and with this money, not only can I create the art I love, but I can also show others how impactful the art can be.
