Interesting question! Hmmm..my favorite kind of art to create is, whatever needs to come out… anything and everything is art. Personally, when the curious wee Monkey, comes a knockin, I take a hard left and then a hard straight into working with mixed media adventures.. oil and acrylic paint, ink, spray paint, photography, collage, wood, metal and turning what would be deemed trash by others into some form of art.
Where do you find inspiration?I often receive images and stories in my dreams and am highly inspired by my travels, particularly Africa, India, South America and American Southwest. I am very inspired by Native American spirituality, I love the ART of storytelling, listening to stories, telling stories and turning stories into other forms of ART! I have a fondness for troublemakers and all things raw and WILD!
What would you do with $25,000?In a nutshell, I would secure a place to let my unbridled imagination flourish! With $25,000 I'd rent a raw studio for that would accommodate bigger pieces of work, that could handle, messy freedom of movement ! My big messy work that won't fit at home — ten-foot canvases, sculpture, plaster. About $15,000 covers a year of rent, insurance, utilities, a vent, sink, and lights. I would open up the gate to other artists and collaborate, make some magic!
