When time starts to become an endless void, I seek solace in capturing the beauty of the organic world around me.

All of it. I love ceramics, drawing, sculpting, music. Understanding even something simple, like a coffee table took design to come to life as a creation. Painting is probably at the top of my list, I’ve had a paint brush in my hand since as long as I could remember. It’s hard to choose one medium or method of creating, they’re all so beautifully unique and complex to master. Thanks to my high school art class I got to experience many methods of art making I fell in love with truly.
Where do you find inspiration?I think anyone can find inspiration out of anything. I find it in those I love. When I’m painting myself I try to fall in love with the pieces of me I don’t necessarily like. When I lose myself I can almost find my beauty again when I go back to self portraiture. I’ve had shows inspire artwork, comics. I love an art prompt to be tasked with, give me anything and I’ll create something.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d find an art school, make a career out of doing art. I want to be able to sustain my family. Maybe a down payment on a home, so we have a place to freely create that’s our own.. I know I want to make some kind of investment that allows me to be an independent artist.
