Creating allows me to connect to my awareness, my inner child, and my ancestors—celebrating my commitment to self and my authenticity.

I enjoy creating abstract works using acrylics, mixed media, fabrics, and recycled materials. I'm drawn to creating pieces that let me get my hands dirty—where I can reimagine everyday tools to form specific symbols and patterns. Multi-layered works built on texture are some of my favorites to create.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from my inner child, my ancestors, and the relationship I have with my self-worth and awareness. My work stems from the dreams and visions I have during meditation. I often supplement this intuitive work with research in cultural symbols, patterns, or ancestral texts. Further drawing inspiration from music, film, books, human connection, nature, and indigenous folklore. I ground myself in how each element contributes to the depth of the stories I wish to tell.
What would you do with $25,000?This investment will support officiating: my Family Art Residency–a mentorship program designed for creative children, curating in-person workshops for artists, ordering canvases, acrylics, and mixed-media materials. Relaunching my custom apparel line, scanning my original artworks, and producing open-source, limited-edition, and hand-embellished prints with professional packaging, along with investing in a reliable laptop, a professional camera, and storage for documenting my studio process.
