I paint to translate emotions into form, turning invisible feelings into something seen, felt, and remembered.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I focus on realistic portrait painting and figurative work, using oil and pencil. I’m drawn to capturing subtle emotions, expressions, and the quiet complexity of human experience. My goal is not just to recreate a face, but to reveal something deeper—something that feels alive, intimate, and emotionally honest.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in human emotions, everyday moments, and the inner worlds people carry. Films, music, and personal experiences shape my perspective. I’m especially inspired by the contrast between what is seen and what is felt—those quiet, often unspoken emotions that connect us all.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in my artistic growth by creating a new body of work, upgrading my studio, and dedicating more time to painting. I’d also share my process through content to reach a wider audience. This support would help me take a serious step toward building a sustainable career as a professional artist
