I create realistic charcoal drawings focused on depth, detail, and presence. There’s a moment in every drawing where the page stops feeling flat, when the subject begins to come to life. That transformation is what drives me. I work to capture not just accuracy, but feeling. I’m deeply passionate about my art and constantly push myself to grow with every piece.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in everything around me. Sometimes it’s the smallest moments, a cup sitting in the sun, the way light falls across it, or a face with interesting features that feels compelling to capture. I’m constantly imagining how I would draw and shade what I see. More than anything, though, inspiration feels like an urge I can’t ignore, like an itch to create. Drawing gives me a sense of purpose, and it’s when I feel most seen.

What would you do with $25,000?

If awarded $25,000, I would invest in my future as an artist, developing my skills, expanding my opportunities, and creating work at a higher level. That investment would allow me to grow not just for myself, but to reach and inspire others through my art. I want to use my abilities to connect with people, create meaningful work, and make an impact beyond the page.
