I find my peace in the creative process and I love sharing that with others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I grew up drawing and painting a lot of portraits, I got pretty good at that. Then I taught myself to bead like many women in my family do. I love to bead, but my stuff is more contemporary rather than traditional beadwork. I still like to do portrait art, just with beads..specifically portraits of people that have inspired me over the years.
Where do you find inspiration?I've always found inspiration in many little things..something I saw on tv, another artist's work, nature, etc. I find beauty & inspiration even in the messy and chaotic times of life. Art actually saved me a couple times. I had given it up to years of addiction & being lost, only to find it again after I was going through PTSD over a certain incident years ago. Creating again helped heal me after that incident, & it still heals me today in so many ways.
What would you do with $25,000?A car! Lol.. Some more art supplies of course lol, help my kids out with some money and put whatever is left in savings.
