I am a watercolorist, who draws an inspiration from mother nature. I love to spend time in nature and painting is a meditative experience for me. I usually go outside to paint, or sketch or at least take photograph if I like something. I then try to apply my knowledge to interpret in my way. I love to paint landscapes, cityscapes. Occasionally paint flowers as well, which help me to bring some freshness in my landscape work.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw my inspiration from the nature. I think nature is a great artist of all. I love to visit calm and quiet places like parks, farms and try to bring the serenity calmness into my paintings. My goal as an artist is to make my viewers feel calm in otherwise busy lives. If my art inspires it's views to take a pause and find some quiet moments in a company of nature, I will consider it as a success.
What would you do with $25,000?Well it would be really awesome to win such a huge amount of money. I would love to spend some on my art supply. I have some great European destinations on my bucket list to visit, so I would like to spend some money on that. I also think the art should be a integral part in primary education in schools and should be taught in elementary schools with seriousness. I would love to find a charity who is working in the art education for kids and donate some part of my prize money.
