I create Art to free myself from the limits of reality, providing an opportunity for escape and self-reflection through my visual imagery.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Art that comes straight from my soul, heart and mind. Art for Art’s sake. The unadulterated creative passion that gives reason to my life; Art with no boundaries nor censorship, just the pure joy of creation. Otherwise, my Art is influenced by my environment. As a Multidisciplinary Artist, I work in various media and concepts as per each project’s needs. My work is experimental/innovative with interdisciplinary approaches informed by contemporary theory, criticism and broader culture.
Where do you find inspiration?First, I look within the vast richness of my creative mind where I find reason to live and to contribute to my community through my Art. Second, I survey the beauty that surrounds me and create artworks which exude nature’s finest features. Finally, I abstract the world into Non Objective Art, allowing for universal appeal in our era of divisive and reactive politics. Abstraction highlights motion, shapes, forms and colors; like an antidote to transform the discontent of the mind into happiness.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in my Art Practice and continue to develop my skills, concept and process to contribute to my community through my Art. I already serve my local community in the Florida Keys with art projects that promote Environmental Conservation. I would produce a new body of work especially for the exclusive exhibit at The Art of Elysium's Art Salon in Los Angeles. I’d be happy to volunteer and produce unique Art programming for the populations which The Art of Elysium serves.
