My favorite type of art involves Abstraction. My artwork takes the viewer on a visual journey incorporating the interaction of colors, geometric shapes, dramatic brushstrokes and transparency.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through the surrounding beauty of the human spirit and the power of nature. The majestic colors within a sunrise or sunset brings forth a sight which captures one’s soul and imagination.
What would you do with $25,000?Upon reading the Elysium mission statement, the commitment to volunteering touched my heart. I have volunteered with schools, libraries and community centers. I would create a mural that visually encompasses fine art, music, theatre and dance. This project would encourage aspiring artists and beautify the neighborhood.
