I love creating art because it’s a form of medication and therapy for me.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Abstract art is my favourite because it comes from the heart. I begin my process by buying canvases and painting materials on sale. From there, I freehand paint on each canvas. I think it would be impossible for me to create the same painting twice which makes each piece very unique. My passion for abstract comes from not knowing when to stop. Sometimes I could go on for hours painting, other times days or weeks or even months. Each piece feels like magic and that I’m creating something special
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration to paint through pain, through victory, through any emotion and nature. I spent many years trying to be accepted and please other people, or to try and help people but I’ve learned that I needed to put myself first. Inspiration for me mainly now truly comes from finding peace and harmony in my life. I can be inspired from having a great day as much as a harder day and in the peace of being alone.
What would you do with $25,000?Keep creating, donating pieces of my art and eventually open a small gallery. A gallery to bring people into a fun loving environment of true inspiration where anybody can come enjoy free time To paint.
