Painting because I like the idea of illustrating your thinking of what are you thinking. When I was a young artist I saw a picture of William Deconing standing next to his abstract painting as tall as he is, looking proud, and that. Painting became my favorite type of art to create.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration finds me when Im alone and bored.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to continue my studies in art. I want to build a live/work artist studio and start an artist residency program in Philippines. I inherited my parent’s house in Cavite Phil. where art community is interestingly growing. I would like to tell you more about this project that I have planning, saving and dreaming about it, $25,000 would help me a lot, thanks.
