I create art to express an extension of all the emotions, experiences and pain in my life and if I didn't, I would lose my fucking mind.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favourite type of art is music but I also love to create assemblage pieces like the ones seen here. I love the tactile nature of assemblage in my case it has a deeper meaning or purpose other than just its aesthetics.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my thoughts and endless examination of life's purpose and meaning and all the emotional waves that flow with it. I the case of my assemblage pieces, the inspiration came from the unfortunate reality of "planned obsolescence" with so many things we use. We buy them and use them until they die, which is planned sadly, and then I take them apart and make something beautiful and useful from them. (some have clocks built into them). My music is inspired by my life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it towards a new album I'm working on and also play for additional orchestration and movie scoring classes that I'm currently taking. My plan is to make my life only about art moving forward from this point. It's time to become who I always was until life got in the way.
