Art is how I love. It’s a part of my heart and soul, I create because I can, because it’s always been there. I find beauty in that.

Portraits have always been my forte. I take slabs of wood - any size whether super small or super large - and I create portraits and scenes on them. I love all forms of media: charcoal, colored pencil, paint, clay, you name it I probably use it. I’ve always been able to pick a media and handle it well. But the wood has become essential in my art, I love the organic nature of it, how each slab is different and how each one challenges me in a different way.
Where do you find inspiration?Film and art. Film is a huge part of my life and has inspired me in so many ways. Human nature is always explored, whether through horror or romance or drama, etc. Film is the epitome of being a human. Art is the epitome of being a human. That inspires me.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to go to art school/film school and achieve my dreams and ambitions of being an artist. I want to create beyond my wildest imagination and in as many capacities as my artistic little heart can dream.
