I enjoy creating mixed media works using watercolour, pens, markers and acrylic. Recently, I've also become interested in sculpture.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw most of my inspiration from nature and books. Other forms of art, such as theatre, also inspire me greatly. I might notice subtle or interesting details in a book or a play and build an entire work around them. For example, insects look very interesting, and I can create compositions with them endlessly, because I am simply interested in drawing the complex legs or antennae of insects.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to buy or rent a small studio for painting and sculpting.
