Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I like to create paintings that are somewhere between reality and imagination. Images that feel familiar, but at the same time a bit strange... like something is off but you don’t know exactly what. I’m not so interested in telling a clear story. I care more about creating a feeling, something emotional that people can connect with in their own way.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in my childhood, and mostly in quiet moments, in being alone and observing small things that usually go unnoticed. I grew up in a small town in Argentina, and I think that made me see the world in a slower and more introspective way. A lot of my work comes from emotions, memories, and also from this feeling of being between places and identities.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use it to invest directly in my work and continue growing as an artist. It would help me produce new pieces, improve my workspace, and access opportunities that are currently out of reach. It’s also important for me to give something back. I come from a small town, where access to art is very limited, and I would love to create something that allows more rural kids to learn, experience, and explore art. I know how much that access can change a life, because art changed mine <3
