Creating art is an opportunity to express myself without words. I get to create things that exist in my imagination and bring them to life.

My favorite type of art to create is 3D art which includes sculptures and ceramic work. When creating this work, I feel the piece really comes to life and I truly love the functionality of some of the pieces I make.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere. I can go on a nature walk and see the leaves from the Earth and brainstorm ideas from there or wander a gallery and see an artist talk about their work and want to express myself similarly. It’s important for me to find little pockets of inspiration from all sources.
What would you do with $25,000?As a future Art Educator, I would pour into my classroom for my future students to explore their artist qualities. Providing resources for art classrooms isn’t always a priority for school districts, so finding my own solutions is my priority. I would also like to contribute to resources that help other artists by donating a portion of the funds. It would be my greatest joy to be able to give back to communities that deserve to enjoy the excitement that comes from creating and viewing art.
