Right now, I’m focused on working with resin and dried florals, creating wall pieces and objects that preserve something fleeting. I’ve always been drawn to creating in different ways - making handmade greeting cards, baking, sourdough kombucha, there's art in so many things around, drawing, painting, ceramics, woodburning, embroidery etc and I love it all. It’s something that has always been part of me but burried deeply inside of me, lately screaming so loudly to get out...not enough space her
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the noticing small things - cherry blossoms now, magnolia trees, I love nature and always inspired by the quiet beauty of flowers in all their forms, dark moody interiors, vintage antiques, barrock anf gothic painting etc. Their uniqueness and fleeting nature drew me to preserve them. I started with small pieces and gradually moved into larger works. I’m still learning, but I love the process and the anticipation of the final result. Every arrangement has a story behind.
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate some money to Ukrainian army. I am praying for this war to stop and all the wars in the world. Heaven is on Earth and so many greedy ego centered people in power like putin do not see the beauty of Life and the preciousness of every human life, caring about money territories and power only... I would also like to help my mom build a house in Ukraine, she is 68 and happened in life doesn't have her own house, and I would buy her some flower seeds - she loves gardening and nature.
