I create to capture what people feel but can’t always say, turning quiet moments into something lasting.

I’m most drawn to photography that feels honest and a little cinematic, moments that aren’t overly posed but still intentional. I love capturing people in a soft, documentary way, but I’m also really inspired by empty spaces, streets, and environments that feel quiet or even slightly unsettling. It’s less about perfection and more about feeling light, shadows, and the story in between.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday moments, how light hits a wall at sunset, quiet streets, or the way people interact when they forget they’re being watched. Music plays a big role in how I see and shoot. I’m also inspired by my background between Mexico and Texas, and the feeling of existing between cultures. A lot of my ideas come from observing rather than searching.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it into creating work more intentionally and without limitations. My work is often centered on quiet spaces and environments that feel empty, but still hold presence. I’m interested in the emotions that exist in those spaces the feeling of stillness, absence, and the subtle tension that people can relate to even without a visible subject. This opportunity would allow me to develop personal projects that explore identity, memory, and the experience of moving between cultures.
