I’m drawn to abstract, mixed media art that explores the universe—the mystery of what we know and what we don’t. The more I learn, I feel completely humbled. Currently, I’ve been working on a series using American sycamore bark,recycled materials,acrylic,pens,& oil pastels to create the unexpected. My process is intuitive—most times it feels less like I’m painting and more like I’m tapping into something greater, a shared human energy. “All I know is that I know nothing.”-Socrates

I find inspiration in nature, space, science, and music—but also in simply being present with life as it unfolds. Living with invisible chronic illnesses like chronic pain & having had NDEs has deeply shaped my perspective. I want my art to be felt more than explained, giving the viewer space to interpret their own meaning. To me, abstract mixed media creates that kind of open, personal experience. Above all, I’m inspired by the idea that we’re all living miracles—here to create in our own way.

I’d use the funds to support my art as a business.That includes investing in a reliable vehicle to transport my artwork to paint bigger, a professional website with a shop,& having my paintings professionally photographed for prints to sell. I’d donate to an art therapy program, & support people with their dreams. Long term, always envisioned opening a café showcasing my work alongside local artists,live music & poetry—a place for connection and expression. Save the rest and more art supplies.:)
