I work in mixed media canvas, combining collage, painting, drawing, and installation with a variety of materials. My process is driven by spontaneity, allowing ideas to emerge freely through the materials themselves!
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration begins with music I find a melody that matches my emotional state, make a cup of coffee, and let the ritual ground me. From there, my experiences of migration, self-growth, and resilience start to surface as messages. I surrender to colors, textures, and words, building each canvas by instinct and chance. When it’s done, I always see a piece of myself and that reflection, every time, feels like healing
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I could support my immigration process and finally see a window of hope toward my dream of becoming a full-time artist and building a cultural space. I’ve been a barista for years, and I’ve always dreamed of having my own studio, merging both worlds to create events that impact the community, achieve legal stability, launch a coffee cart, and bring itinerant exhibitions to life
