I create art to move people, to inspire, challenge perspectives, and tell stories that might otherwise go unheard and unseen.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Creating art fuels me, especially when my work carries a message that encourages people to embrace culture, tradition, and the beauty of their stories, so they’re seen, valued, and remembered.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the people I photograph. Every bride carries a unique story, and the details in her henna, culture, and traditions shape how I capture each moment. I’m inspired by the emotion, the rituals, and the quiet, meaningful in-between moments. Through my lens, I aim to honor not just how things look, but what they represent; identity, heritage, and connection across generations.
What would you do with $25,000?This opportunity would allow me to use my art to uplift youth in underserved communities, preserve cultural traditions, and amplify overlooked voices. Through photography and storytelling, I document authentic moments rooted in heritage, identity, and connection so they are not lost to future generations. With this investment, I can expand my reach and create meaningful visual narratives that positively contribute to society.
