When working with children,it's impossible not to create. It's the only way to communicate and make learning effective. From drawing to music.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Art encompasses almost everything. Someone who writes music can paint a picture, write stories, or interpret a character. I play the piano, combine glue, tempera, pencils, pastels, and old cardboard to create a painting. I write theater scripts, prepare choreography, and take analog photographs.I love transforming into characters, and I combine all of this for my school work.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. From a cactus to create an alien figure, from a tile in the kitchen to draw a fairy. Many ideas come from listening to music, others simply from walking and observing: from the lady pulling her dog, to the girl looking at herself in the shop window. And then, from silent films: those expressions no longer exist.
What would you do with $25,000?Honestly, first of all, a trip. Then I will buy my husband a Gibson Les Paul. And finally, opening a free art workshop for the children in the afternoon, so as to wean them off their phones and tablets, which are now a curse.
