I create multimedia art projects that weave together photography, hand-made Northern lace, print-based processes, and contemporary AI tools. Lace serves as both a material and symbolic foundation, allowing me to construct visual narratives about memory, identity, and generational continuity, connecting historical craft traditions with emerging digital technologies.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in processes of personal transformation shaped by migration, in memories of the past, and in observing how the sense of home and identity evolves. My inspiration comes not only from visual art, but also from music, cinema, literature, and historical cultural heritage, which I seek to reinterpret through contemporary technologies, transforming it into a language of the present and the future.
What would you do with $25,000?I would dedicate part of the funding to developing new multimedia projects that combine photography, hand-made lace, and contemporary technologies, enabling larger-scale works and international exhibitions. Another part would support the creation of a community focused on reinterpreting cultural and craft heritage, fostering contemporary expression and supporting personal identity in a global world.
