My favorite art to create revolves around the human body, exploring the dialogue between light and shadow. I create hyper-real art to explore light, shadow, and the human form—seeking deeper understanding through expression. I work primarily with charcoal and acrylics, allowing me to shift between raw immediacy and layered depth. I also work with linoleum printmaking, where each carved line becomes a deliberate expression of movement and structure.

I find inspiration in the human form and the nude, where light and shadow reveal emotion, vulnerability, and presence. The Old Masters—such as Caravaggio, Bernini, and Michelangelo—continue to shape my vision through their mastery of anatomy, movement, and drama. My students are also a constant source of inspiration, and seeing their excitement and artistic growth renews my passion for creating hyper-realistic art and exploring the depth of the human condition.

With $25,000, I would take my son to New York City, Paris, and Italy so he can experience art and history firsthand at the Met, Louvre, Florence, and Rome. As a single mom, I would use this chance to give him experiences I usually cannot afford, letting him encounter these masterpieces beyond books. I would support his sports growth, invest in my own studies, and continue building my private art lessons business, expanding both my practice and teaching.
