My studio is my place of comfort and peace. My art is my voice and my emotions. In this chaotic world, I need softness and kindness.

I create botanical paintings that explore depth, texture, and luminosity. My process begins with encaustic paint to build the base elements—such as sky, water, or fields—followed by alcohol ink to define the flower stems. I then create cellular textures using shellac varnish enriched with pigments, and complete the composition with oil paint for the flowers themselves. Through layers of encaustic wax, ink, shellac, and oil, I build serene landscapes where softness and light gently unfold.
Where do you find inspiration? In this uncertain and chaotic time, I feel deeply called to create paintings that embody soothing softness and serenity - pieces that hold space for tenderness, comfort, and emotional rest, offering viewers a sense of peace and reassurance when everything feels overwhelming. Rather than responding to noise with more noise, I am drawn to restraint, calm, and sensitivity.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in more materials, as wood panels and wax are costly and my budget is limited. Access to these resources would allow me to create more consistently and experiment freely. I would also attend seminars and workshops to improve my technique, explore new artistic styles, and grow creatively by learning from other artists and professionals.
