I create because it gives me a space to breath slow down and express things without having to explain them

My favorite type of art to create is still life art. I enjoy drawing simple compositions that focus on one main subject while the rest of the scene remains still. I appreciate this style because it reflects how life can slow down when we need it to. I like to used a medium of pencil or charcoal for this as it adds to the realism. It creates a sense of calm, balance, and quiet reflection. I also enjoy painting people, especially historical figures. It makes me feel like a famous painter.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my everyday life.In the places I visit or in the people I talk to. I mostly find my inspiration within my self, I reflect a lot before starting to draw. And I think you can feel it in the way I draw or paint. In the painting I submitted I chose to paint Anne Boleyn without a face.First because we dont know what she really looked like but, It was a time in my life where I didn't really know who I was.And our face is the root to our identity. So I expressed my self through it
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000, I’d honestly split it between being smart and enjoying life. I’d put a good amount toward school and saving for my future, because I know how important stability is. I’d also save for some bigger goals like a home, or traveling, and building the life I one day want. I’d definitely keep some to enjoy now too, shopping, experiences, little luxuries, and making memories with the people that I love. I’d want the money to help me now, but also set me up later.
